WATER SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Canadian Red Cross has recently announced that it will be stepping away from supporting Water Safety Programs nation wide as of the end of 2022. Here's an excerpt from their release: “The decision to step away from Water Safety programming was not taken lightly, as Red Cross is enormously proud of what we and our Training Partners have accomplished in that area over the past 75 years. Red Cross continues to believe strongly in the importance of water safety but have determined that the relative humanitarian need has been surpassed by current and emerging national health crises that have generated unprecedented levels of Red Cross engagement.” We will continue our work with the Red Cross in program offerings through their First Aid and Safety training initiatives. We are using this time to evaluate other training partners to continue offering training and education to our community. WATCH FOR NEW LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAMS COMING JANUARY 2023!
