Sisu (pronounced – see’-soo) is the Finnish word for determination and resilience in the face of adversity, an attitude that Maple Ridge’s Finnish community embodies. This exhibit will go over the Finnish community’s journey from being a small commune to an established community. Stop by the Museum to learn about this unique piece of our local history.
