Experience ARTrageous fun designing different arts and crafts projects each week. These hands-on fun Saturday mornings will have you exploring, creating, drawing, and painting while socially distanced. All supplies included. Students will write scripts, design and develop characters, plots, settings, conflicts, and climax resolutions. They will also study composition for panels, draw characters, settings, sketch actions and dialogues. Instructor Netsanet Tsegaye will also teach students about calligraphy, typefaces, and sound effects for speech balloons and captions. All levels of art students are encouraged to attend! Some mixed-media and collage techniques will be explored. Detailed demonstrations and step-by-step instructions from teacher Oksana Slonevskaya will guide students to try various styles and techniques of art creation. Students will learn some art vocabulary, art history, and will be encouraged to experiment and make their own choices on composition, shape, and colour. Eco-Friendly Colour Books Age: 8Y-11Y

Students will make their own earth-friendly paper and paints to create a book that tell stories through colour. Instructor Kathryn Wadel will guide students through the process to make paper with flowers, leaves, and recycled sources, and non-toxic tempera paints. Students will learn about eco-art practices, learn colour mixing, and create colour-themed story books. All supplies included.
