CLAY CREATURES Age: 6Y-9Y

DANCE JAM SUMMER CAMP This is a fun, high-energy camp where participants explore Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-Hop through creative movement and basic choreography. Daily arts and crafts support creative expression, building confidence in a positive environment. The week wraps up with a sampler showcase for families. Please provide nut-free snacks and water. Drop-off camp only.

HANDBUILDING CLAY TECHNIQUES Age: 9Y-12Y Get creative and discover the medium of clay using hand building techniques. Students will be introduced to slab work, coil work, and pinch work. Using these techniques along with their imagination and creativity, students will create their own animals, planters, bowls, holders, and wall hangings. All clay pieces will be painted with colourful glazes and fired in our kilns. No previous experience working with clay is required. Work will be available for pick up two weeks after the last day of camp.

Get creative in this hands-on ceramics class. Each day a different living thing will be created out of clay - insects, birds, endangered animals, and mystical creatures. Have fun learning new skills and exercising your imagination. Work will be available for pick up two weeks after the last day of camp.

Students will work with pencil and charcoal mediums, tempera and watercolour paints, coloured pencils, chalk and oil pastels, as well as pen and ink on various paper types. Some mixed-media and collage techniques will be explored. No previous experience is required, open to all levels. AiR

In this course, students will learn slab, pinch, and coil techniques to make functional cups, bowls and plates as well as some fun creative sculptures. Students will finish their projects with colourful glazes. All supplies included. Work will be available for pick up two weeks after the last day of camp.

Get messy playing in the “mud” this summer. In this fun clay camp, students will create magical pieces using techniques like slab, coil, and pinch building. Using these techniques along with their imagination and creativity, students will create their own functional and sculptural pieces like clay animals, pen stands, bowls, and candle holders which will then be glazed and fired in our kiln.
