RECREATION SUPPORT IN SUMMER CAMPS The City of Maple Ridge offers support workers for children (3-12Y) with individual support needs within programs. Support workers are funded through the Ministry of Children and Families CYSN program or Supported Child Development. Families who are not eligible for a funded support worker may provide their own support caregiver (External Support Worker) within day camps. Permissions for an external support worker in day camps must be submitted to recsupport@mapleridge.ca 4 weeks prior to program start dates . How to Request a Funded Support Worker:

Email the Recreation Support team at recsupport@mapleridge.ca to request a support worker and determine your child’s eligibility for funding. The Recreation Support team will follow up with the necessary information and documents required to proceed. Once all documentation has been reviewed and funding is approved, the Recreation Support team will coordinate support staffing, confirm program availability, and finalize your child’s registration.
