Join us for this two-week, full day musical theatre camp as we audition, rehearse and finally perform a production of Newsies. This class is for performers who are ready to take the next step in choreography, character building, and blocking and harmony/choral singing. Have fun creating and designing a variety of puppets out of paper mache, wire, feathers, felt, fabric and found materials. Bring your characters to life! Paint facial expressions and accessorize with hair and lots of other decorative details. In this five-day ceramics camp, try your hand at throwing on a wheel. Experiment and have fun with this messy artistic challenge. Learn how to wedge clay, center it, and shape a clay cylinder. POTTERY WHEEL BONANZA Age: 11Y-15Y Take a spin on the wheel in this wheel throwing camp for older students. This class is suitable for both beginners and for returning pottery enthusiasts. Students will be encouraged to focus on shape and technique development and only fire their best work.
