WELCOME TO MAPLE RIDGE’S 4 INGREDIENT RECIPE CHALLENGE Calling all home cooks, bakers and kitchen experiment-ers! Get ready forMapleRidge’s 4 Ingredient RecipeChallenge as part of our 2020Virtual CanadaDay celebrations. The challengewill be to create a signature dish inspiredby July 1, your family, your heritage and/or cultural diversity that is comprisedof only four ingredients*. Dishes can be createdby an individual, householdor familymembers. The Top 3winnerswill be announced July 1 during our virtual CanadaDay celebration!

*spices, salt, pepper, oil,margarine/butter,milkandeggsdonot count towards your count of four

DATES

We are accepting submissions until June 24 at 11:59 PM. The winners will be announced on July 1.

CRITERIA

The 3 winning dishes will be selected based on the following details: • Completion of submission (photo, recipe & story) • Dish presentation • Taste

JUDGING

The judging panel will consist of 3 judges including chef’s from Maple Ridge restaurants and the Fraser North Farmers Market Society.

PRIZES

• 1st place – $250 .00 (Giftcards: $150 Taco Fan, $75 BIA, $25 Farmers Market) • 2nd place – $125.00 (Giftcards: $50 Taco Fan, $25 BIA, $25 Farmers Market) • 3rd place – $75.00 (Giftcards: $25 Taco Fan, $25 BIA, $25 Farmers Market)

SUBMISSIONS

Participants send their submissions (photo, recipe and story) one of three ways: 1. Fill out our online entry form on mapleridge.ca/1744 2. Post on your personal Facebook or Instagram account tagging @yourmapleridge and #yourmapleridgerecipes (ensure your account settings are public)
