Pop-up Recreation in the Park Ages 12Y–18Y

Check out our free programs offered in neighbourhood parks around the community where Youth will be safely engaged in a variety of physically distanced activities. Volunteers will build leadership skills and work with staff to create a positive culture that is accessible for everyone. After a successful evaluation,members will earn an honorarium for their time spent mentoring at theAction Park or at Neighborhood Parks.For details or to submit a resume contact Jesse Holland at jholland@mapleridge.ca. In partnership with Coast Capital Savings Credit Union, this workshop provides youth with personal money management skills and challenges themto critically apply these concepts to their everyday lives.This program gives youth the knowledge they need to be financially successful. We will address three themes through a female-focused lens: effective communication and self-advocacy,developing financial confidence, and building resilience. Come prepared for games, group discussions, role- playing, and getting outside of your comfort zone.We hope to see you there!
