Learning from an expert, discover more about Mandalas, medicine wheels and M é tis floral designs and create your own custom circular M é tis design. Starting with preliminary sketches, participants will be using colour temperature, multiple glazes, a limited palette, composition guidelines, and a range of values to create a watercolour landscape with depth. First these techniques will be used to paint a landscape from a reference photo provided by the instructor and the second half of the course will focus on using these techniques in a landscape of the participant’s own choosing.
