Winter Program Guide 2020

In April 2019, a group of neighbours led by Shelly Popadiuk hosted the annual, free community Easter Egg Hunt at Whonnock Lake Park. The event has been running for the past seven years and continues to gain support in the community as hundreds of parents and children attend. Families participated in games and activities, an Easter Egg hunt and received a surprise visit from the Easter bunny. Be on the lookout for the Easter eggs at next year’s event. Visit whonnock.ca for more details. The Neighbourhood Small Grant program offers a chance to connect with your neighbours, to share resources and be involved in your community. Do you have an idea to animate your neighbourhood? Apply today and start planning your winter or spring themed block party!
