Winter Program Guide 2018-19

Accessibility is one of our primary considerations for the retrofit of the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre. Our goal for this renovation is that, just as our motto says, everyone is welcome. While the old facility had some accessibility equipment available, there were key improvements that the project team identified as a priority:

3 accessible change rooms (bench, ceiling lift, sink & toilet) 2 adult-sized hydraulic beds 1 child-sized hydraulic bed Beach access to pool Ramp to accessible hot tub Widened hallways & entrances for strollers/wheelchairs New, slip-resistant tile flooring
