Fabulous Felting Workshop Age: 14Y and up

Salsa Level 1 Ages: 16Y and up

Learn to felt colourful wools into fabulous 3D forms. In this class, students will learn to create a mini felted purse, dry felted flowers and felted surface designs to further embellish their creations.

This in depth salsa program will start with the basic steps and progress to more advanced styles and patterns. Styling technique for Latin hip movement (Cuban motion) and proper lead and follow techniques will be covered. Singles welcome.

Have you ever wanted to print your own fabric? In this introduction to fabric printing, students will learn to create blocks from cork, wood, lino, found objects and much more. They will also incorporate the idea of using pattern networks and repeated patterns with their hand made blocks. Students are encouraged to create more than one colour palette, block print and/or pattern repeat to develop their own personal design on pillow fabric.

This course starts with the basics, then new variations will be covered each week. Learn the six and eight count basic patterns that will set the foundation for all West Coast Swing moves. Singles welcome.

This course is for those who have had more than just the basics in both these dances or consider yourself a fast learner. Samba is a lively, rhythmical dance of Afro-Brazilian origin in 2/4 time danced to Samba music. The foxtrot is a smooth, progressive dance characterized by long, continuous flowing movements across the dance floor. It is danced to big band music. The dance is similar in its look to waltz, but the rhythm is in a 4/4 time signature instead of

Bachata/Merengue Ages: 16Y and up

Merengue is the simplest Latin dance around and its variations can be danced to other styles of music because there is no specific rhythm. Bachata is danced to a wonderfully unique music style and has a very specific fun hip movement. Singles welcome

This class is for those who have had beginners Night Club 2 - Step. You will be reviewing all Level 1 material and adding new variations to the dance. This is one of the most popular forms of contemporary social dance. Singles welcome.
