Art Mix for Home Learners Age: 8 -15Y

In this exciting class designed for home learners, students will be exposed to multiple ways of art making, including painting, print making, surface design, textile embellishing and hand sewing. Students will create a variety of beautiful projects that they can display and share with family and friends. Have you ever wondered about how to make sculptures? In this amazing class you will learn to take your artwork into the 3D realm. You will be introduced to a variety of sculpting materials and techniques that will make your art jump off the page! Students will learn how to tune into their body, feelings, and visionary skills to facilitate what they want to express through art. We engage in movement or dance, and transition into drawing skill for the lesson. After their vision is brought to life, we learn various painting skills, and take home a beautiful expression of art, and feelings empowering the student to bring their imagination to life through their uniqueness. Students are encouraged to apply personal inspiration, influences, and experiences to their creative process as they develop skills and build confidence. No experience required.
