Background The BC Summer Games provides a competitive multi sport environment that supports the development of athletes, coaches, and officials as they move on to higher levels of competition. The BC Summer Games contributes to the development of sport and communities through infrastructure updates and improvements, volunteer engagement and skill enhancement, and large-event hosting experience. The 33rd BC Summer Games will run in Maple Ridge from July 18 to 21, 2024 Who’s Coming Up to 3,723 participants 2,782 athletes, 566 coaches and 375 officials The Competition 19 sports (including sports for athletes with a disability) Major Games Events Practices - Thursday, July 18 Opening Ceremony - Thursday, July 18 Competitions - Friday, July 19 until noon Sunday, July 21 Closing Celebration - Sunday, July 21 Countdown to the Maple Ridge 2024 BC Summer Games
