The Jr. Lifeguard Club (JLC) will provide training for skilled swimmers (8-12 years old) and will consist of the 3 pre-Bronze awards (Rookie, Range and Star Patrol). Candidates will learn basic lifesaving and first aid skills and earn recognition and achievement awards. JLC will include the following three modules: Water Proficiency, Recognition & Rescue and First Aid.

READY TO JUMP IN? VOLUNTEER WITH AQUATICS Give back to your community by diving into a volunteer position with Maple Ridge. Volunteering is an excellent first step for those who may be interested in teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding, you will play an important role in helping people become comfortable in the water.
