ACT ART BURSARY PROGRAM
Musical Theatre Senior Level Age: 10Y - 14Y
Older children can dive into a world of Musical Theatre in this camp for those interested in singing, dancing and acting. Young thespians will learn a mini-musical production over eight weeks that will be presented for family and friends on the last day of class. Location: The ACT
The Arts Angels Program Bursary assists individuals who require support in order to participate in arts programs run by The ACT Arts Centre. Applications must be received prior to session start date and cover one term of one program per student. Please note that due to limited funds each year, financial assistance is not guaranteed. Join us for an upbeat and fun introduction to Hip Hop dance. Musicality and self-expression are encouraged as children learn new moves along with exercising, improving their coordination, and developing an appreciation for movement through dance. Location: The ACT
Perfect Your Own Play Age: 10Y - 15Y
This class has it all – acting, script writing, and character development. Learn how to write and perform your own play to present to your parents and caregivers on the last day of class. Location: The ACT

Semi-private lessons are a great way to learn guitar in a fun and relaxed learning atmosphere. You will explore chords and rhythm while picking from familiar songs. This is an excellent class for those trying to decide whether to commit to long-term lessons. Students must bring their own guitar. Sheet music will be provided. Lyrical dance, a combination of ballet and jazz, is faster than ballet and slower than jazz and uses songs with lyrics that inspire movements and express feelings. This class is a wonderful way to develop your individual self-expression through movement and dance. Location: The ACT
