BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQ’S gym, skate/scooter & pool parties

What is included in the fee? - Food and refreshments. - Set up and take down. - Basic party decorations.

- Recreation staff. They will be there for the duration to assist you with the duration of the party. Please note that the staff do NOT go in the water for Pool Parties. Pool Parties: Private room downstairs in the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre. Located across the viewing area for the pool. Gym Parties: Private room upstairs in the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre and half of the gymnasiums. Skate/Scooter Parties: Greg Moore Youth Centre active area with full use of the ramps and equipment. What type of food do I get included in the fee? Birthday parties will include large pizzas, chip mix, juice and water. Are we allowed to bring our own cake, food and decorations? Yes! You are welcome to bring additional food and decorations for the party. Nothing containing nuts and alcohol is permitted. How early can I arrive on the day of party? Parents/guardians of the birthday child may arrive 15 minutes prior to party start time. We ask that you do not come earlier as the recreation staff will need time to prep the party. What if we want more than 15 children for the party? OUR BIRTHDAY PARTY RATIO: Pool & Gym Birthday Parties: 1 recreation staff to 15 children Skate/Scooter Birthday Parties: 2 recreation staff to 15 children If you would like to add additional children, it will be a fee of $5/extra child and $25 for additional staff.
