WOMEN’S BASKETBALL The Haney Women’s Basketball team, founded in the early 1900’s, involved many women of the early settler families including Anne and Elizabeth Haney. The women here are pictured in their basketball uniform, which included floor length skirts and corsets. Basketball continues to be a favourite sport among kids and adults alike in Maple Ridge.
