Spring for the Haney Farmers Market means gardens waiting to have the soil turned, seeds arriving from the orders placed in winter, young greens poking out of the soil and apple blossoms foretelling fruit to come. APRIL 13, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM: EARTH DAY Celebrate “Healthy Community Healthy Self". The market joins in the festivities with an early spring market. Our vendors will have those fresh baked goods and young green vegetables you have been craving all winter. MAY 11, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM: FIRST REGULAR MARKET Celebrate the start of the regular market season in Memorial Peace Park. Our famous Celebration Carrot Cake will be shared at 11:00 AM in the Cafe Corner. Welcome back all your favourite vendors. JUNE FESTIVITIES In June, Seniors Saturday is the highlight of Seniors Week - come for a cup of tea served in style. And you don’t want to miss the festivities of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 22.
