The City of Maple Ridge is doing things a little differently to help our community stay connected while we safely navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. The Neighbourhood Small Grant Program (NSG) has always been a way to connect neighbours and build community. We challenge you to use these grants to uplift community spirits and ease the impacts of social distancing by helping our neighbours strengthen connections, both in person and virtual. Small grants up to $500 are available for projects.

EXAMPLE OF SOME PROJECTS SUBMITTED AND APPROVED: • Craft and Jump Session • Quilting Together • Family Porch Portrait • Online Jewelry Session • Community Library • Eating Healthy Webinar • Community Garden • Face Masks for Seniors • Curries and Conversations • Virtual Tea Party • Origami Sessions • Cards of Hope • Virtual Dinner Party • Small Block Party *subject to Provincial Health Order • Virtual Yoga Session (*cannot promote or be related to a commercial yoga studio but available to individual yoga practitioners)
