Social Netiquette Age: 10Y-14Y

In this Social Netiquette program, participants will learn to develop and apply proper social etiquette, good citizenship and critical thinking skills to meeting people, sharing information and socializing through the internet. Content will focus on things participants can do to develop their ethical capacities to make good decisions and remain open to talking about their online activities and experiences with people they trust, including their parents. Popular sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Xanga, MSN Spaces and Live Journal are reviewed and special attention is given to protecting identity, safe online practices and cyber-bullying.
