RECREATION ACCESS

Recreation Therapy Services focuses on recreation as one component of a rehabilitation and recovery plan and is offered in partnership with Fraser Health - Mental Health and Substance Use Services. For details please call Shayna 604-467-7303. The Participation Program offers reduced admission and program fees to Maple Ridge residents who meet eligibility requirements. Enquire at the Leisure Centre or visit our website to learn more. Leisure Access Card is available for customers requiring support to participate in our leisure activities. This card enables customers to bring a support person free of charge. Enquire at the Leisure Centre or visit our website to learn more.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps kids ages 4 to 18 participate in organized sports and recreation. For more detailed information, funding criteria and applications please visit jumpstart.canadiantire.ca.

KidSport is a community based funding program that provides grants up to a maximum of $300 to help with the cost of registration fees for children under the age of 18 to participate in community sports. Applications are online at www.kidsportcanada.ca. Completed applications can be dropped off at the Leisure Centre. For more information please email: mrpm@kidsportcanada.com

2020 BC Summer Games On March 10, 2017 Maple Ridge was selected to host the 2020 BC Summer Games. This will be the third time our community will host the games. There will be plenty of opportunity to be involved.
