Pottery Wheel Bonanza Age: 10Y-14Y

Take a spin on the wheel in this wheel throwing class for older students. This class is suitable for both beginners and for returning pottery enthusiasts. Students will be encouraged to focus on shape and technique development and only fire their best work. The Great Summer Pottery Throwdown Age: 10Y-14Y

In this five-day ceramics course, try your hand at throwing on a wheel. Experiment and have fun with this messy artistic challenge. Learn how to wedge clay, center it, and shape a clay cylinder. Students will be encouraged to focus on shape and technique development and only glaze fire their best work. Students can also explore hand-building techniques such as slab and coil building.
