Dance, Move, Create! Age: 8Y-10Y

Dance, move and create fun art crafts with professional dance instructor, Sarah McEvoy. Budding young artists will explore movement and creative expression through visual art projects and different dance moves everyday! The instructor will provide examples from professional artists and artistic movements, lead demonstrations to inspire students’ art projects and encourage their creative self-expression. Some mixed-media and collage techniques will be explored. No previous experience is required, open to all levels. Explore new ways of making and seeing in this fun-filled art class! The instructor will introduce imaginative projects using drawing materials, collage and more. Students are encouraged to create expressive artwork and hand-made portfolio books to easily store their masterpieces and display for family and friends. All supplies included. Instructor: Tina Ranger Location: The ACT Fee: $120 | Sessions: 4 T-F 9:00AM-12:00PM August 8-11 #51229 Get creative and discover the medium of clay using hand building techniques. Students will be introduced to slab work, coil work, and pinch work. Using these techniques along with their imagination and creativity, students will create their own animals, planters, bowls, holders, and wall hangings. All clay pieces will be painted with colourful glazes and fired in our kilns. No previous experience working with clay is required.
