Volunteer with Youth Staff recreating in Maple Ridge Parks this summer! Youth will receive 4 Leadership DevelopmentTraining Sessions providing your child with the confidence and experience to be a Volunteer Mentor in various parks around Maple Ridge from May-August. These training sessions focus on building leadership skills, creating ownership and responsibility, and promoting positivity. After the training is completed, Youth Mentors will earn an honorarium for their time and volunteer alongside Youth Service Staff at such locations as Maple Ridge Park and Albion Sports Complex. A short interview process is required prior to being accepted into the program, youth must submit their resume before March 1st, 2021. Build your resume, expand your leadership skills and give back to your community through volunteerism! This group works to positively promote youth in our community and experience personal growth as they do so. Call Clint Gamache at 604-467-7443, new members are always welcome. This program offers 4 Leadership Development Training Sessions providing your child with the confidence and experience to be aVolunteer Mentor at the Thomas Haney Action Park from May-August. These training sessions focus on building leadership skills, creating ownership and responsibility, and promoting positivity. After the training is completed, Youth Mentors will earn an honorarium for their time and volunteer alongside Youth Service Staff at the THSS Action Park creating a positive environment and organizing fun activities. Experience in Action Sports (Skateboarding, Scootering, and BMXing) is considered an asset. A short interview process is required prior to being accepted into the program, youth must submit their resume before March 1st, 2021.
