Beginner Pottery Wheel-Throwing for Adults Age: 16Y and up

Shape your creative potential in this pottery program – perfect for beginners! Students will learn the foundational steps for throwing clay on the pottery wheel. The instructor will provide demonstrations and support to shape and trim bowls and cups, practice glazing techniques and prepare works for kiln firing. Hand-building technique will also be offered to those students interested. No experience necessary! Please note: Clay must be purchased through The ACT website for an additional fee (price varies according to clay, includes glazing and firing). Landscape Watercolour Painting Age: 16Y and up

Perfect for landscape lovers! Starting with the basics, participants will learn about paintbrushes, artist paper, different types of watercolour paints and practice techniques to create colourful tints, tones and shades. Combine these skills to create a stunning watercolour mountain landscape scene on paper. All supplies provided. No experience required.
