CERTIFICATIONS Babysitter Training Age: 11Y-16Y

Kidproof Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This curriculum also provides improved learning when it comes to giving appropriate care in the event of an emergency. Please bring a doll or stuffed animal to class. Please note, participants must be a minimum of 11 years of age (or completed grade 5). AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS AftersKool at ACC Age: 5Y-12Y

Afterskool is a registered afterschool program focused on fun, active, safe and inclusive play. Children will be engaged in different activities and have the opportunity to try new games, sports and creative projects! PRC staff will provide a supervised walk from c̓ əsqənelə school to the Albion Community Centre for students in Grades K & 1. Children from other local elementary schools are welcome to attend but must be transported to the Albion Community Centre for sign-in by a parent/guardian, or other person agreed upon prior to participation. Children must be in Grades K-7 to attend AftersKool at ACC. Instructor: PRC Staff Location: Albion Community Centre Fee: $17 | Sessions: 1

Home Alone Age: 9Y-13Y

If your child is spending time at home alone while you are busy running errands or working, this course will provide the skills needed for them to safely look after themselves. Interactive lessons and scenarios will help you and your kids feel more confident when they

I Wanna Walk Age: 8Y-12Y

The I Wanna Walk program is an active program that prepares children ages 8 and up to walk to and from school safely without direct parental supervision. Participants will learn how to plan a safe route to and from school, who to go to for help along the route, what to do if approached by a stranger and pedestrian, bicycle, skateboard, and rollerblade safety.
