ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

THE LITTLE LIBRARY OF WHAT? Throughout her residency, Artist in Residence Natali Leduc has worked with community members to create original handbound books. A copy of these books will be placed in a “little library" located at the Fern Crescent Artist Residence and a second copy will be included in a mobile library that will travel to schools, retirement homes, community events and the Maple Ridge Library. CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS | There is still time to connect with Natali and create your own book for the library. Share stories, recipes, thoughts, poems, graphs, photos, math equations, etc. with the rest of the community. There is plenty of flexibility in terms of style, format, content, language and pace. We make four copies of each book: one for the writer, one for the illustrator, and two for The Little Library of What? CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO for an introduction. Participation is FREE! Everyone is welcome to participate. PORT HANEY ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS | Join the Port Haney Artists-in-Residence Aaron Moran and Taryn Hubbard for a free series of fun and interactive workshops about home and the environment in celebration of Culture Days.
