Family Play Night in the Park
Family Play Nights in the Park Age: All Ages
Join us for a free, exciting evening of outdoor fun at “Family Play Nights in the Park!”. This is a great opportunity for families and friends to come together to connect, create memories, and enjoy quality time in the great outdoors. With a variety of activities for all ages, everyone can join in the fun. No registration required - just drop in! We will provide some equipment, but feel free to bring your own supplies and make the night even more special.

BUDDING ENGINEERS Age: 7 -11 Y Participants will build cool take-home STEM projects while learning about science and engineering concepts. Each day will be an exploration of a new STEM concept with interactive demonstrations, team activities and fun polls. Take home projects include a rocket, electric car, wind turbine, and more! 3D ENGINEERS Age: 8 -11 Y
BABYSITTER TRAINING CAMP Age: 11 -15Y
An introduction to the exciting world of 3D printing! Participants will make their own projectors using a 3D printer. They will also do 3D design with TinkerCAD, a fun and intuitive app that introduces them to Computer Aided Design. No prior experience is required. Participants do NOT need their own 3D printer. INSTRUCTOR: ENGKIDZ
This Babysitting certification course will cover everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This curriculum also provides improved learning when it comes to giving appropriate care in the event of an emergency. Please bring a doll or stuffed animal to class. ROBO ENGINEERS Age: 8 -11 Y
Participants combine engineering and art to create five amazing take-home projects. Science simulations, fun quizzes, and hands-on project building are incorporated into each class. Take home projects include a spin art machine, dancing colour bot, flying butterfly, and more! INSTRUCTOR: ENGKIDZ
Participants will build and code a cool take-home robot that uses sensors to guide itself through obstructions! Through hands-on building, kids will learn basics of robotics including moors, controllers, sensors, and algorithms. No previous experience is required. INSTRUCTOR: ENGKIDZ
