uPLAN–YOUTH LEADERSHIP GROUP Age: 14–22 Do you want to get more involved in community initiatives? Join us! uPlan is a youth volunteer subcommittee of the Maple Ridge Youth Planning Table. The vision of uPlan is to actively engage and recognize the contributions of youth within our community. uPlan aims to promote youth voices on civic issues and community-based initiatives that nurture the mental, social, and physical health and wellbeing of youth in Maple Ridge. BC Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. It is a week of fun filled interaction and a celebration intended to build a strong connection between youth and their communities. This event is intended to highlight the interests, accomplishments, and diversity of youth across the province. Join us Tuesday evenings as we bring the Youth Centre together to hear the “Youths” voice, learn about upcoming programs as well as volunteer opportunities throughout the community. Youth can also acquire credit for high school volunteer hours

Storytime Tuesdays & Thursdays, Apr 1 to Jun 26, 10 – 10:30 am Saturdays, Apr 5 to Jun 28, 10:30 – 11 am Introduce kids to the love of books and language with Storytime! Children and caregivers will enjoy interactive stories, songs, rhymes and more. Storytime prepares children to learn to read.
Pyjama Storytime Wednesdays, Apr 2, May 7, Jun 4, 6:30 – 7 pm Tuck into a story! Children and caregivers will be entertained with stories, songs, rhymes and more. Kids are encouraged to wear their pyjamas and bring their favourite stuffie. Storytime prepares children to learn to read. Looking for more Storytime fun?
