Fall Program Guide 2019

Celebrate Culture Days' 10th anniversary on September 27, 28, and 29! The provincial launch will be hosted in Mission on Sept. 22 at 1pm, Heritage Park Centre. Join Canadians across Maple Ridge, the province and nation in this annual celebration of culture with activities for all ages and FREE! Our themed activities this year corresponds with community health and well-being. Get a passport in Maple Ridge and collect stamps at the different locations to win some prizes!

HIGHLIGHTS

SEPT. 27 | FAMILY FUN DAY Eric Langton Elementary School, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with Artists in Residence and Indigenous games and food. SEPT. 28 | ACT ARTS CENTRE, HANEY HOUSE AND LIBRARY 1 1:00 AM – 3:00 PM • FAMILY FISHY FUN AT ACT ARTS CENTRE | explore Maple Ridge’s “fishy” past and try your hand at different crafts and hands on activities. • HARVEST TIME AT HANEY HOUSE | take a tour of the heritage orchard around Haney House, see demonstrations of an apple cider press, and even get to try some of the heritage apple cider and fruit preserves! • ARTS IN THE LIBRARY | from storytelling to interactive arts and crafts by local artists and youth, come enjoy something for the whole family.
