Art Mix & Tricks Age: 6 -12Y

Clay Handbuilding for Children Age: 6 -12Y

Mix up your week and learn the tricks, skills, and practices to become a better artist. In this course, students will explore visual art, artists, and the elements and principles of design. Experiment with mixed media drawing, painting and sculpture using a variety of materials. Students are encouraged to apply personal inspiration, influences, and experiences to their creative process as they develop skills and build confidence. No experience required. All supplies included. Instructor: Paige Allan Location: The ACT Fee: $125 | Sessions: 8 Th 5:00PM - 6:30PM Oct 19 - Dec 7 #52673 Be welcomed into the class with soothing music. Students find a comfortable space to lie or sit down (blankets welcome to be brought to class) while they engage in guided meditation, and sound bath focusing on the subject of art for the day. Students will learn how to tune into their body, feelings, and visionary skills to facilitate what they want to express through art. We engage in movement or dance, and transition into drawing skill for the lesson. After their vision is brought to life, we learn various painting skills, and take home a beautiful expression of art, and feelings empowering the student to bring their imagination to life Art Chill Age: 6 -10Y

Bring your ideas to life while you learn about handbuilding and sculpting techniques. Create functional ceramic cups, bowls, plates and sculptures. Each piece will be carefully finished with colourful glazes. Students will finish their projects with colourful glazes. All supplies included. With guidance from the instructor, students will write scripts, design and develop characters and compositions, plots, settings, typefaces, and sound effects for speech balloons and captions. WOW!
