In this seasonal workshop, you’ll learn how to decorate elegant, autumn-themed sugar cookies—think golden leaves, pumpkins, plaid patterns, cozy mugs, knitted sweaters and more. Whether you’re new to cookie decorating or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a calm, creative space to sip, socialize, and decorate delicious edible art. From pre-blended bases, learn the basics of cold process soap making from scratch! Make a long lasting herbal floral soap and a batch of citrus explosion. Explore different ingredients, methods and techniques that you can use to create exciting soaps. Learn about troubleshooting, history and packaging/decorating your soaps! Also receive a finished soap bar. Recipes for gourmet garden bar, pet soap, laundry soap and herbal shampoo. Please bring hand towel to class. But improv isn’t just for those who intend to perform on stage and it’s certainly not just for folks who are (or want to learn to be) funny. Developing improvisational skills supports relationship-building, empathy, confidence, self awareness, public speaking skills and more. Workshops will be progressive for those who attend regularly but still accessible to newcomers.
