Summary of Services Provided The City of Maple Ridge provides the community with an extensive suite of local government services.

Services Provided by Other Agencies Services that are not an assumed responsibility of Maple Ridge include: • Air quality and environmental concerns (RAPP – Conservation Officer Service) • Agricultural land reserve concerns (Agricultural Land Commission) • Animal neglect and cruelty (BC SPCA) • Energy utilities/services (BC Hydro, FortisBC) • Farming complaints and concerns (BC Farm Industry Review Board) • Garbage collection and organics (private operators) • Golden Ears Bridge and Golden Ears Way (TransLink) • Highway 7 (BC Government) • Hospital care systems (Fraser Health Authority) • Housing and homelessness (BC Housing) • Public education (BC Government, School District • Golden Ears Provincial Park (BC Provincial Parks) and Kanaka Creek Regional Park (Metro Vancouver Parks) • Social and health programs (BC Government) • Telecommunications networks/facilities (private operators, Government of Canada) Property Tax Collection Maple Ridge issues property tax notices and acts as a collection agent for other taxation authorities. The levies below are included on the property tax notice.
