The annual GETI Fest celebrates the ways we can be better stewards of the planet. One of the activities, the Repair Café, demonstrates that we have many consumer goods that just need a little TLC to continue being a part of our lives.

Maple Ridge’s craft brewers officially became part of the BC Ale Trail in 2019. At the kickoff event our Mayor and Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Lisa Beare, had a sample of a special beer crafted to launch our community into this growing network of beverage artisans.

BC Premier John Horgan posed with the student ambassadors at the grand opening of the new

WWII Veteran Ernie Poignant took the final salute at the end of the 2019 Remembrance Day Ceremony at Memorial Peace Park. Thousands of citizens came to honour those who have served, and are currently serving, our nation’s Armed Forces.

c̓əsqənelə Elementary School in the fast growing Albion neighbourhood. These students were the hosts for tours of their new school.
