CHILD & YOUTH

Ellen has worked with the Children’s Recreation team since November 2015. Ellen brings her creativity, enthusiasm, positivity and sense of fun to all the programs and camps she runs. She works hard to ensure the children in her program have a memorable experience. What inspired you to work with MRPRC Children’s Department? I have always loved working with children of all ages and have always known I wanted to be a teacher. Becoming a camp/program leader was something I felt I needed to do in order to become a part of the community and the children’s world. What do you enjoy most about being a Children’s program/camp leader? I enjoy the smiles and laughter I get to see and hear everyday. It is so fulfilling to be a positive part of a child’s day. It makes me happy to see them happy. ENJOYING SMILES + LAUGHTER
